Surprise, surprise... I changed my mind about your assignment. We will chat in class tomorrow.

What Do We Need to Do?

I have notice a lot of committees are sitting around and wasting time, or maybe it is just a few members of that committee. It seems like we have had a hard time getting back into the swing of things since coming back from winter break. But trust me when I say... WE HAVE NO TIME TO WASTE. Below are some things each committee should be working on right now and planning on over the next couple of weeks. BIG EVENT: Finalize prizes and incentives by Thursday Write and deliver donation letters by 1/27 Stuff envelopes by 1/25 Put labels on envelope and put in PE teachers' mailboxes by 1/27 SPIRIT COMMITTEE: February is college month. Plan some "college" spirit days. i.e. Wear a college sweatshirt STAFF & STUDENT: Increase advertising for b-day grams. COMMUNITY SERVICE: Check binder. I put a flyer in there about "Kick Butts" Day. We need to do something. DANCE COMMITTEE: Orders must be in by the end of class on Tuesday. They were due on Friday. You only have 2 1/2 weeks to plan the dance. FUNDRAISING: Make the roses. If we are ordering beef jerky lets get the order in ASAP. Make sure everyone wants to sell. If not order less. STUDENT STORE: Finalize inventory. Do we need to order anything? Do we need storage containers? PUBLICITY: Go through poster box. Start preparing the February display case. Homeroom announcements for Wednesday. EVERY COMMITTEE NEEDS TO PUT IN THEIR BULLETIN, POSTER AND HR ANNOUNCEMENT REQUESTS. Project Write Ups will be due February 29th. We will be choosing new committees February 25th.
