Your post this week is a little different. Your job is ask 5 student, who you are not really friends with, three questions.
1. Do you plan on going to the Spooky Ooky Dance?
If no... why not?
If yes 8th...what would make the dances more fun?
If yes 7th...what would you like to have at the dance?

3. What can we do to make the winter formal special?
Collect all your information and then write it up like this:
1. Two people said they weren't going to the dance because their parents won't let them go.
Three people said they were going and we can make it better by playing better music, making it darker, and having more snacks,
2. 2 people said theme, 2 said snacks and 1 said the people who are going.
3. More slow songs, beautiful decorations, have it on a Friday nights, offer flowers, allow students from other schools to come.

Three commented no with Various reasons. One stated they did not know, another said of how the name sounded (gay) and because he could not dance. the third said it would be crowded with seventh graders, and that she was lazy to go.

OK, before I start writing my response, I decided to not write some of the ideas from the people I asked because either they were kind of inappropriate or they were just not possible.
ReplyDeleteFour people said yes they were going and to make it better, we could have free food, music, cotton candy, a disco ball, punch, no turtles, ice cream, drinks, chicken, pumpkin pie, orange chicken from Panda Express, sushi, and cookies.
One person said no because the person didn’t want to.
Four people said snacks were more important, and one person said theme was more important.
To make the winter formal special, people said people dressed as Frosty the Snowman, serve chicken and hot wings, serve noodles from Panda Express, and a fat, scary Santa.

1.Three people that I asked said that they weren't going to go, and two people said that they were going to go. One told me that he was grounded and the other two said that the name of the dance seems very boring and childish. The ones that were going to go said that we could make the dance better by having free or really cheap but really good refreshments, make the dance more like a rave, have a chocolate fountain, and have neon flashing light in the dark. They also said changing the name and lowering the price would make the dance better.
