Welcome Alvarado Leadership Students

This year I will be incorporating blogging into our class structure. The purpose of the blog is to create a forum where the leadership class can engage in authentic discussions about leadership and character in the class, school or society.
Students will be required to check this blog regularly and comment on posts. I will post a question or discussion topic on Sundays. Students must respond to the question or discussion topic by commenting on the post by Friday, at 10pm.
In order to post a comment, students must have a Google account. Google accounts are free and will also provide students with an email address. Students are not allowed to post anonymously.
Students must also print, sign, and return the Blogging Terms and Conditions by September 1, 2009.
Finally students must review the “nettiquette” document. Students are expected to follow proper net etiquette in order to ensure a high level of learning.
If students do not have access to the internet at home, the computer lab is open everyday during nutrition and lunch, and afterschool until 3:30pm.
I am looking forward to this activity and I know it will be successful if everyone contributes to discussions and follows internet etiquette.
